Simple Scarf

This is just a very fast and simple scarf pattern that also looks quite nice. Hope you enjoy.

MATERIALS
Whatever yarn you want, I just use Red Heart's various yarns... just... pick with common sense. Don't use thread or something (I mean, come on, this is a SCARF that you're making, not a foulard.)
Hook size US K 10.5/6.50MM, or whatever size you like to use. But that's what I used for the scarf in the picture.

STITCH GUIDE
QUADRUPLE CROCHET- YO 3 times, insert in st or sp indicated, YO and pull up a loop, * YO, draw through 2 loops on hook, repeat from * 3 more times.

PATTERN
Ch 18 loosely.
Row 1: Quadruple crochet in 5th chain from hook, * quadruple crochet in next ch repeat from * across: 13 quadruple crochets
Row 2 (Right side): Ch 2 (counts as first dc now and throughout), turn, dc in each st across, dc in first ch at end of row.
Row 3: Ch 4 (counts as first quadruple crochet now and throughout), turn, quadruple in each st across.
Row 4: Ch 2, turn, dc in each st across.
Rows 5-56: Repeat Rows 3-4, 26 times. You can add more rows or do less rows, depending on how long you want the scarf to be. You can also add tassels to the ends of it, if you wish.

And now for a chinchilla fix ^_^
